A shooting in Minneapolis has left two people dead and at least five others, including two police officers, injured. The Delhi Cabinet has approved the Delhi Ease of Doing Business Bill, 2026, which aims to make the process of doing business in the capital easier, faster, more transparent and less costly. The bill includes a single-window system for business approvals, registrations, no-objection certificates, consents, licences, and services such as building plans, fire-related approvals, and water, sewer and electricity connections. The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) will be the single nodal agency for all business approvals through this single-shop system. The Bill aims to shift the relationship between the government and enterprises from a system based on control and suspicion towards one based on ease. Following its approval, the Bill will now be sent to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy is distributing free lockable bags to retailers in an effort to protect children and pets from accidental exposure to cannabis edibles.
