Two of the most powerful radio observatories on Earth, the Very Large Array in New Mexico and MeerKAT in South Africa, scanned the planet for a full orbit in late 2023 and found no narrowband radio signals linked to the K2/18 system. The team even fed fake signals to measure the frequency of these signals, and nearly 80 percent of its detections were false. The result was accepted by The Astronomical Journal. K218b is a sub-Neptune, roughly eight and a half times the mass of Earth and two and ahalf times its width, orbiting a cool red dwarf every 33 days inside the zone where liquid water is possible.

Volkswagen cuts revenue outlook, profit down
Volkswagen, Europe's largest automaker, is expecting weaker revenue despite strong demand for its electric small cars. The company now anticipates full-year revenue to fall by up to 3% instead of rising by up until the next year.
